Gas supply to the Kribi thermal power station
It has been in effect since February 2013 with the start of deliveries of natural gas to the Kribi thermal power station. The gas supplied comes from the Sanaga Sud offshore field operated by the Association of the same name, made up of Perenco and SNH.
To carry out this project, the Association developed the Sanaga South field and built a gas processing center in Bipaga I. The treated gas is transported to Mpolongwé, where the plant is located, via a gas pipeline. 18 km built and operated by SNH.
SNH’s deliveries fully meet the needs expressed by the operator of this 216 MW power plant, the largest thermal power plant in Cameroon, which contributes to the supply of six of the country’s ten regions.
