SNH markets the State’s share of national crude oil production, as well as its own production. SNH also ensures the marketing of Cameroonian crude oils on behalf of one of its partners who requested it, testimony to the recognition of its commercial expertise.
Brent from the North Sea, listed on the London market of the Intercontinental Exchange, serves as a reference for the sale of Cameroonian crude oils. Depending on the type of crude and depending on market conditions, Cameroonian crudes present a discount or a premium compared to Brent.
SNH’s commercial policy is based on two pillars: direct sales to refiners located in its natural export zone (Europe, Mediterranean) and sales to traders to reach more distant markets (the Far East and the Americas).
