Promotion is carried out in particular through participation in trade fairs dedicated to upstream oil. Free blocks in the Cameroonian mining sector are promoted, with SNH representatives highlighting in particular the oil data available on these blocks which testify to their prospectivity, as well as the incentive provisions of Cameroonian legislation. These blocks are also the subject of calls for tender published in renowned specialist journals.

As part of its mandate to promote and develop hydrocarbon resources in the oil and gas sector of the Republic of Cameroon, the Société Nationale des Hydrocarbures (SNH) has promoted nine free blocks, namely:
