Promotion
Promote the oil and gas sector, with a view to developing national hydrocarbon resources.
Negotiation
Negotiate and monitor oil and gas contracts.
Marketing
Market the State's share of hydrocarbons and return the revenue from sales to the Public Treasury, which finances the State budget.
Manage safety stocks of petroleum products, to guarantee their availability in the event of a major unforeseen event in the country.
Conduct
Conduct projects for the development of gas resources, aimed at the generation of electricity, the production of domestic gas as well as the export of natural gas.
